I feel like people have opinions that’re just plain broken. All I’ve heard about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is either “OMGIMUSTSTARVEMYSELFNOWKTHXBAI” or “Ew, they’re just tall twigs, I have real woman curves”

Why would you watch the show if that’s how you feel about models? Fashion and fashion shows are about confidence and expression. You and your “real girl curves” will look just as good in that bedazzled bra as Alessandra and the other models do. Whether you believe it or not. And you making fun of them for being ‘twigs’ is the same thing as them making fun of you for being ‘fat’, when you fancy yourself ‘a real woman’. Get over yourselves. Human beings come in all shapes and sizes, the grass is always greener on the other side, etc. The show was not put on to lower your self-esteem, Victoria’s Secret is about making women feel sexy. When you wear glamorous and sexy things under your clothes, it’s supposed to give you enough confidence to take off your clothes(if that’s where you’re night is going lol). I don’t understand the self esteem issues with teenage girls today. So many beautiful girls than can only call themselves ugly and unloved. I suppose I empathize because I did used to feel the same way, but now that I’m comfortable in my own skin, I can’t remember why I ever wasn’t. You’re beautiful.

Yes, models are generally skinny, that’s always been the ideal fashion portrait. But when you go to the store, they have that same bra in your size, don’t they?

Victoria’s Secret is that her inspiration comes from Pokemon…
